Job description

Working on our retail site in Lime Square Openshaw Manchester, to work within a team in order to ensure the provision of a safe and secure working environment for our customers, colleagues, tenants and visitor’s, through the protection of their people, property, assets and reputation.

This is a varied, fast paced and busy role, so you will be on your feet. As a representative of Lime Square, you will be dealing with customers, clients and retailers and you will need to think quickly to find solutions that ensure their experience is efficient and they receive a high and personalised level of service.

Main responsibilities 

  • To be polite, professional, and friendly at all times with customers, tenants and colleagues.
  • To ensure the highest level of customer care/service is adhered to at all times.
  • To demonstrate a can-do attitude towards individual customer requests and strive to exceed customer expectations.
  • Working and building relationships with all retailers, tenants, traders.
  • You will patrol the site to ensure customers, retailers, colleagues and grounds are secure and must be prompt in checking for intruders and potential safety risks.
  • Also carry out daily routine checks of the retail site including health and safety and environmental welfare checks.
  • Reporting to and work alongside the head of security and customer services.
  • Working among other team members.
  • You must be capable of working as a team and individually and being able to work efficiently and consistently with tasks, basic routines and procedures.

Ideal candidate

  • Good communicator, high degree of integrity and honesty, someone who is easily engaged with the public and colleagues.
  • Displays a reliable, responsible, flexible can-do approach of work duties, with a passion to provide high standards of customer care and is highly motivated, efficient and organised.
  • Must be fully flexible and available to work various shift patterns including evenings and weekends.
  • High standard of customer care and hold relevant SIA licenses.
  • IT skills – word and excel
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Experience of security, lost and prevention, customer services and retail.
  • Event planning/experience – preferred not essential
  • Full clean driving licence.
  • Hourly rate is competitive.
  • Full time position.
