Lime Square’s gym to reopen this Saturday

21 July 2020

The Gym Group at Lime Square in Openshaw is set to reopen in doors to members on Saturday 25th July from 8am following changes to government advice.

When the gym reopens this weekend, members will have access to personal training sessions as well as plenty of free weights and cardio equipment.

The Gym at Lime Square has been closed to the public for the past 18 weeks following government guidelines, but the team are now looking ahead and working hard to reopen safely this weekend.

New safety measures have been introduced in the gym to ensure the safety of members and staff. These include hand sanitiser stations and access to cleaning products for all gym equipment.

In order to adhere to social distancing rules, some gym equipment has been removed in order to make more space and screen dividers and floor markings have been introduced.

Members can also check how busy the gym is live via The Gym app, to avoid visiting at peak times.

Medi Parry-Williams from the Lime Square Management Team said: “We are really pleased to welcome back The Gym after an 18 week closure due to the lockdown.

“Exercise is key to maintaining good physical and mental wellbeing, which is more important than ever right now, so we are really happy that The Gym team and members can get back to the gym and back to being active!”

The Gym at Lime Square, Openshaw will open 8am-8pm on Saturdays and Sundays, and 10am-6pm Monday-Friday. To Find out more please visit
