Plans underway for the 2019 Openshaw Festival

The team at Lime Square are busy working on their plans for the fifth annual Openshaw Festival which us due to take place in September. 

The event will be held on Saturday September 7th from 11am – 5pm and will be located at the busy east Manchester shopping centre which is just off Ashton Old Road in Openshaw. 

A host of local businesses, organisations and groups are involved in the planning of the event to deliver a packed programme of activities and entertainment for visitors of all ages. 

The team at Lime Square are working closely with organisations including Manchester City Council, Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue and Greater Manchester Police as well as local schools, businesses and entertainers.
A food and craft market will also be part of the busy event as well as children’s fairground rides and some special sporting activities as well as games, crafts and face painting. 

Lime Square is owned and managed by Dransfield Properties Ltd. Kayleigh Marron, the company’s event manager, said: “We are delighted to be working with some great local groups and organisations to deliver the 2019 Openshaw Festival.

“We are planning what is shaping up to be a great day on September 7th. We also have plenty more to announce so keep checking our website and social media for regular updates.”

Lime Square is home to a tenant line up including Morrisons, The Range, B&M, Costa Coffee and The Gym Group. The latest store to open at the centre is Savers.
